Personal Data Protection Notice
For what purpose Floktek Makine processes personal data, to whom it is transferred and for how long it is kept; your rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and how to apply.
This is an English translation for information. The binding text is the Turkish KVKK Aydınlatma Metni.
This notice has been prepared under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”) to inform you about the purposes for which and how your personal data is processed. The duty to inform does not depend on your consent; reading this notice is sufficient.

2. Personal data processed
- Identity and contact: name and surname, the company you work for, phone number, e-mail address.
- Request details: the machine you are interested in, your message; machine details and photos you send for the exchange campaign.
- Transaction security: when you visit our site, your IP address, browser information, date and time of the visit, the page requested.
We do not process special categories of personal data (health, religion, biometric data, etc.); please do not share such information in your messages.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- Preparing quotes, answering your request and conducting pre-sale discussions — directly related to the conclusion of a contract (Law Art. 5/2-c).
- Carrying out sales, delivery, warranty and service — performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c) and fulfilling our legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç).
- Keeping the site secure, preventing abuse and unwanted form submissions — our legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).
- Protecting our rights in possible disputes — establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e).
We do not send you commercial electronic messages containing advertising or campaigns. Should we wish to do so in future, we will ask for your separate consent under Law No. 6563.
4. How the data is collected
Your personal data is collected from you when you fill in the quote form on our site, call us, or write to us via WhatsApp or e-mail; visit information is collected automatically through our site’s server and security logs.
5. Who it is transferred to
In Turkey: to authorised public institutions upon request; to our legal and financial advisers; to the company hosting our site, only to the extent that service requires.
Abroad: our site and e-mail service work with providers whose servers are located abroad. Your data may therefore be transferred to the following providers in accordance with the conditions of Article 9 of the Law:
- Cloudflare — fast and secure delivery of the site (IP address and request information);
- Google — the e-mail service through which quote form notifications and e-mails are delivered (form and correspondence content);
- YouTube (Google) — only when you choose to play a video on the site;
- WhatsApp (Meta) — only when you choose to write to us on WhatsApp.
6. Retention period
Quote requests that do not turn into a business relationship are kept for 2 years from the request date; records of completed sales for 10 years under the Turkish Commercial Code and tax legislation; server and security logs for the period set by the relevant legislation. At the end of the period your data is erased, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to apply to us to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
- know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred,
- request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and erasure or destruction if the reasons for processing no longer exist, and request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
- object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
- claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
In line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can send your application with a wet-signed letter to our address above, by registered electronic mail (KEP), secure electronic signature or mobile signature, or from an e-mail address you have previously given us and that is registered in our system, to info@floktek.com. Your application must include your name and surname, Turkish ID number (for foreigners, nationality and passport number), address for notifications, e-mail and phone if any, and your request.
Your application is concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the process requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged. If your application is rejected, you find the answer insufficient or no answer is given in time, you may lodge a complaint with the Board under Article 14 of the Law.
